Since the launch of Fenty beauty and the explosion of sales and gratitude for Rihanna’s diversity. More and more beauty brands have felt pressure to adapt and evolve. Many of them extended their ranges as fast as they could such as Kylie Jenner’s reputable Kylie Cometics, Kim Kardashian and L’oreal to name a few. It has been a long time coming but it is time that these brands provide a choice for every woman and leave their beauty standards where the sun does not shine. Maybelline is one of the latest brands to jump on the diversity wagon by launching their new range “True match”. The brand appears to have many shades within the range but time will tell how great they really are in match, application and look.
A snippet from part of their new range of Fit Me Foundation and Fit Me Concealers to pair up.
Maya Jama announced her partnership with the brand and doing her first campaign with them and fellow #MaybellineMaker Jourdan Dunn. They both represented the brand with a spring fling cheek look for the launch of the campaign. I caption this photo as Maybe it’s melanin and hope that the 35 new shades has a wide variety of shades to compliment every queen.
