2018 The Year History Was Made At The Brit Awards

The 02 housed one of the most historical nights out of The Brits history, when The 2018 Brit Awards took place on Wednesday 23rd February.

King Kendrick Lemar won International Male Solo Artist and I am sure he co-signs the legendary moment in the arena. The moment when history was made was unexpected, needed, empowering and gripping to the entire nation. Stormzy won British Male Solo Artist and the Mastercard British Album of The Year! What a way to double up on the momentum he stirred with his closing performance for the night. His long term girlfriend and one of the hottest presenters out there, Maya Jama, looked absolutely fabulous in her cotton candy sparkle dress.

You do not have to like or know Stormzy to relate to him because he used his platform to project truth, in the best way he could through a gripping freestyle. He opened his performance with his track Blinded By your Grace before he sent for Theresa May and the government for the handling of Grenfell, and lack of support to the victims. Questions that the public have raised for some time after raising an unspeakable amount o money, clothes, boxes and donations. It had been clear from the start that it seemed like the public were doing more to support the victims in the heat of the devastation. Stormzy also positively praised the likes of Jourdan Dunn and Daniel Kaluuya for winning a BAFTA award recently.
